Winter to Spring Transition Outfits
Well.. I think this week is about that time where we can slowly transition our wardrobes from winter to spring. (keyword-SLOWLY) I say that because we still have a lot of snow where I live, but the sun has been out and I do have faith that it will get warmer and melt away soon! I got quite excited to pull out some of my spring clothes to be honest. Spring and summer are my favourite months, I love all the light layers and springy colors!
And I know we are all still under quarantine and there's no where to go, so what better time to put together a fun blog post, so you can take a break from this crazy world right now, take a read and dress up in some fun spring clothing inside your nice, warm house cuz why the heck not!

So below I will put together 4 different outfits that can easily be worn transitioning between these seasons and I've just kind of explained each one, how I put it together and then all the outfit details as well!
Outfit planning this time of year can sometimes be tricky because the temperatures are up and down each day or even throughout the day. So layering up is going to be your best friend!
As I was looking through these pictures I noticed that I must have been having a pink/mauve moment because most of my pictures involved pink.(defintely was not planned.) But any piece can easily be swapped out for a different color or pattern as well!

OUTFIT 1)
A spring colored striped top with fuzzy wintery-feel cardigan
This outfit has got to be one of my favs! And I think it is the perfect example of a transition outfit because of the spring colored top and fuzzy cardigan. Paying attention to layer pieces is very important because if you take off layers you still want your outfit to look cute! I paired it with a lighter wash denim(that was also distressed, but doesn't necessarily have to be. A boyfriend jean would also be super cute with this outfit as well.) I paired a slip-on sneaker with it, as in the winter maybe you would wear it with an ankle boot instead and in the summer I like to wear a wide leg pink trouser that matches this tee! To complete the whole look, I added a classic mauve handbag!

High waisted Light wash distressed denim: American Eagle

Earrings: Walmart

OUTFIT 2)
Versatile neutral pieces that can be worn both in winter and spring!
Since this cardigan is a lighter colored leopard it can definitely be pulled off in the spring as well. Which I am not complaining cuz its so adorable and definitely one of my top fav pieces in my closet. I also just paired it with a white tee and added a distressed lighter colored denim. I paired it with a platform sneaker, as in winter maybe you would've worn it with cute bootie. A gladiator sandal or converse would also be a great shoe for this look. I added gold accessories- layered necklace and hoop earrings.

White tee: Old Navy
Leopard Cardigan: Real Deals on Home Decor
High Waisted Light Wash Distressed Denim: American Eagle
Platform Sneaker: Aldo Shoes

OUTFIT 3)
Oversized Top with Skinny Jeans
This top has spring written all over it. I love the bright colors. I have knotted the top and added a cardigan for that extra layer. ( could also use a bomber jacket, or jean jacket) Another way to wear this oversized tee, is just a front tuck. (pictured below)

I have also created a lil mini tutorial on Instagram under my "fashion" highlight on "how to master the perfect front tuck." Click here for the direct link.
I paired a darker denim to match the blue stripes in my top. And a pink slip-on sneaker, and added some dangly jewelry but could defintely be dressed down with just a wrist watch and baseball cap.

OUTFIT 4)
Spring on the top & winter on the bottom
This outfit is such a fun ensemble. And also the perfect transition mix. On the top I have added together some lighter pink tones and on the bottom I have paired it with an ankle boot. I went with more of a bohemian vibe with this outfit adding a chunky necklace and tassel earrings but it can easily be dressed down with a white tee and/or plain duster cardigan. You can also elevate your look by mixing different patterns and textures like I did here with the snakeskin and florals.
Outfit Details:
Graphic Tee: Ardenes
Floral Duster Cardigan: Winners
High Waisted Jeans: American Eagle
Snakeskin Ankle Bootie: Saks Fifth Avenue
Hair Barrettes: Urban Planet
