Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

I love cookies. You love cookies. So why not share this yummy recipe with y’all to! I gotta share the love right?! With Christmas just a few weeks ago and eating tons of homemade goodies, I haven’t baked in awhile, even though I really enjoy it. I’ve been trying to get back on the healthy eating train and when I bake I just tend to eat it all! (Which don’t we all?!) But I was just itching to bake something, so I pulled out my recipe book and started flipping through. And you can thank me later for sharing this recipe with you because this recipe is DE-LICIOUS!  I had 2 scoops of cookie dough AND like 5 cookies while I was baking them! 🙈 The recipe makes about 46 but after you eat half a dozen then it won’t make as many just FYI! 

This recipe is from Pinterest and I’m always skeptical with trying new recipes from Pinterest because half the time they are fails. But it was in my recipe book with a side note saying “GOOD RECIPE” in all caps. So I’ve obviously tried it in the past and didn’t want to get it mixed up with my fail recipes. Have any of you had great experiences with Pinterest recipes or Pinterest fails? I’m always up for a laugh or more good recipes, if you want to share your experiences and recipes below! 

So anyways, I would highly recommend to write it down in your recipe book because your kids or hubby will love them. I love making my cookies a smaller size ( I have the scooper from pamperedchef that makes dropping cookie dough on the cookie sheet a dream. I’ll link it here for ya.) So theyre more of a bite size and also I can eat more and not feel as bad but really I still eat like a total of 8 cookies! Haha! (But just don’t think that in your head)  But here is the recipe below for ya. I hope you get a chance to make them when you’re craving something sweet and let me know what you think! 


2 1/2 cups whole wheat flour 

1/2 tsp. Baking soda 

1/2 tsp. Salt 

3/4 cup. Butter 

1 cup. Brown sugar 

1/2 cup. White sugar 

2 large eggs 

2 tsp. Vanilla 

1 cup. Semi sweet chocolate chips 

1. In mixer, beat butter and sugars. Add eggs, and vanilla. Mix till smooth 

2. In separate bowl, mix together flour, salt and baking soda. 

3. Stir in dry ingredients. 

4. Fold in chocolate chips 

5. Scoop into balls on cookie sheet for 9 1/2 mins. Oven at 325! 

Makes about 46 cookies.
