Favourite Fall Outfits in Flatlays

So I think I have to stay that fall is undoubtedly the best season for style. It’s seriously the perfect weather to wear whatever you want, whenever you want. From the crispy mornings to the warm sunny afternoons and back to the chilly evenings. It’s a great way to show off all your cute layers, cozy knits, and ankle booties(slip-on sneakers if you are me). Take advantage of that warmer weather when you can; Wear bare arms, cropped skinnies, bare ankles, even throw back on your flip-flops for heavens sakes.

I’ve really got to enjoy and take in how beautiful fall is this year. Usually where i live here in Alberta we get about one week of fall and then it immediately snows and turns into winter. We have gotten lucky this year with a great month and a half of the full fall spectrum to seeing the leaves change colors, falling off the trees, drinking and eating pumpkin spice everything, the weather gradually getting crispier, and the leaves getting crunchier.

There has been so many fall trends popping up this year but the one I really have grown to love is the rust/orange/brown/tan tones. I’ve never really been a tan/ brown kinda gal, just with my lighter skin tone and lighter hair color. But as I’ve been more creative with my color palettes, I’ve paired this rust color with colors that do emphasize my skin tone(mauves, pinks, greens) and it can really create a well put-together look without making me look dull or washed out.

Today, I have created some flatlays of some of my favourite fall outfits that I have been wearing on repeat! I also love that most of these items can be worn multiple ways (which I will talk more about down below)

Not too much to say about this outfit, pretty sure it speaks for itself! Sweater, and leopard sneakers are from Winners. High waisted skinny jeans are from American Eagle. (These are the only jeans I wear.) Pink button top is from Urban Planet.( I also grabbed a cream and olive in this top because its so soft and comfy.)

I think the secret to Fall fashion is all about how to style your layers properly without looking like a stuffed penguin. Find thinner tops for your under layer to avoid that "stuffed penquin" look and find chunkier pieces for the overtop layer. Always be sure to layer, so you don’t suffer from heatstroke or hypothermia.

I've quickly found out that these rust pieces are surprisingly just as versatile as my black and greys pieces. Leopard top I've had for a couple years so I cant remeber where I got it. Rust tie waist pants are from Urban Planet. Leopard sneakers are from Winners. Striped Scrunchie is from Paperairplaneco., Tassell Earrings are from ShopImpressionsBoutique.

This outfit is very easy to throw on if I'm not feeling like layering up. A big chunky sweater and distressed jeans is sometimes all you need. I love the sleeves on this leopard sweater. They're kind of like a parachute sleeve but its just those little details again right?!

Don’t be afraid to mix and match different shades and textures. This outfit is all about that; the fur vest, leopard print, color block sweater. I love that fashion can be creative and whatever you want it to be.

Fur vest I ordered off some random website last year, I cant remember the name. The color block sweater is from Walmart. The pencil skirt is from Real Deals Lethbridge. Statements Earrings are from Shop Impressions Boutique.

This is another look with the neopolitan color block sweater and vest. I swapped out the pencil skirt for pair of skinny jeans for a more relaxed, casual look.

This is another look with these rust color tie waisted pants. They seem to kind of go with anything and everything. They are one of my favourite pair of pants. I have them in multiple different colors and I will link them here for you.

This half zip mock neck sweater is also one of my favourites lately. I love the little zip detail. Just adds a little touch to a plain sweater. The mock neck keeps me cozy on colder days but doesn't have the bulkiness of a big turtle neck. I will link this top here for you. It comes in multiple colors and I just ordered black, grey and white in it because I love it so much.

Well, I hope you are also enjoying fall as much as me, and hope you have a great rest of your week!
